Impressive LED wall solution in front of glass window

Delaware Technical Community College is an open-admission institution of higher education committed to Delawareans - to the success of their students, the local employers who hire their graduates, and their communities. The College has earned its place as an educational leader in the state.

The College is respected and trusted at the state and national levels because of its hallmarks of commitment, responsiveness, and vision. For one of their locations they need an impressive video wall installed in front of a glass window.

The project explained

The challenge

DTCC was looking to display content using an LED wall. This LED wall would be placed in front of a glass wall. Therefore, it was not possible to mount the LED configuration against the glass wall.
That is why a floor-to-ceiling solution was chosen from the Vogel's Connect-it System. This modular system allows you to create any configuration; floor-to-wall mounting, floor-to-ceiling mounting, wall mounting or freestanding.

The solution

Delaware AV was asked to carry out this installation.
98 pieces of Planar TVF LED cabinets were installed. In this case, the configuration is 14 cabinets wide and 7 cabinets high.
By using the Vogel's universal LED Interface, suitable for any LED cabinet, they were able to attach the Planar TVF LED cabinets to the Connect-it floor/ceiling construction.

The outcome

A true eye-catcher in front of a glass wall.
Thanks to the installation of the LED wall, the LED wall can now be used for various purposes.
The cabinets are seamlessly connected.
The LED wall is a beautiful addition to the institution.

About the mounting system

For this project Vogel's universal LED Interfaces were used, suitable for any brand LED panel. The floor-to-ceiling construction was configured with Vogel's Connect-it modules.
