What is the environmental impact of Vogel's TV wall mounts?

As an international A-brand for AV mounting solutions, we’re increasingly focusing on transparency around the environmental impact of our products. To understand how we can take sustainable steps for our current and future products, we use life cycle analysis software.

At Vogel’s we offer two types of environmental transparent documents for our TV Wall Mounts:

Our Vogel’s Eco Sheet* is an internal overview of the environmental aspects of the product. It includes information such as:

Use and impact of materials
Energy consumption during production

Environmental Product Declaration for TV mounts

The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a standardized and externally verified document that describes the environmental performance based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA):

Verified by an independent third party; Ecoreview.
Suitable for use in public tenders, sustainability reports, and certification systems
Includes data on environmental impact at each stage of the lifecycle – from raw material extraction to end-of-life – with specific metrics such as Global Warming Potential (GWP) in kg CO₂-equivalents, Use of energy resources, Emissions to air, water, and soil.

What is Global Warming Potential (GWP)?

Put simply, GWP is a measure that reflects a product's impact on global warming. This is expressed in kilograms of CO2 equivalent. This calculation considers different types of greenhouse gas emissions, from production and material extraction to product transportation. This reduces a complex mix of emissions to an understandable measure: the contribution to climate change.
