The task of the Frankfurt am Main Police is to ensure the security of all the inhabitants of the department. This includes preventing and combating crime. Guarding public order. The detection of criminal offences. As well as helping in emergencies and carrying out police tasks for the judiciary.

The challenge

Control, monitoring, camera switching, communication at a central point for coordinating operations.
A curved video wall makes it much easier for the eye to follow the individual information in picture-in-picture situations.
Because the floor is double, it is important to plan in advance exactly where the floor panels should be mounted. Electricity and supply ran in the subfloor.

The solution

Installation of a Barco UniSee curved video wall of 8x4 displays.
A metal frame was placed behind the installation for revision and service possibilities.
For this very complex installation, special developed adapters were developed for the Barco UniSee Mount.

Better viewing angle and better overview for employees.
Clear control room with high resolution displays.

About the Barco UniSee Mounting Solutions

An impressive 8x4 Barco UniSee curved video wall was installed. The completely seamless UniSee LCD displays offer superior image quality and vivid colour reproduction. Regardless of the amount of light, the displays are clearly visible to all police officers in the control room.

Vogel's is the preferred partner for the attachment of Barco UniSee systems. In close cooperation with Barco, Vogel's has developed special adapters with which the UniSee video wall can be mounted. Wherever and in whatever way!

Floor-to-ceiling Solution

In this project the 8x4 Barco UniSee curved video wall is mounted with the Vogel's Connect-it system from floor to ceiling. The combination of adjustable Floor/ceiling Mounting Plate PFF 7965 with the robust PUC 2933 Poles guarantee a solid and stable mounting.
