A hollow double wall is often made up of a wooden frame that is covered with a layer of plasterboards. In this case, the best solution is to mount the TV bracket on the underlying frame. Sometimes the frame is made of metal or you would prefer to have the bracket in a different place. In this case, you can mount the TV bracket directly onto the plasterboard using wall plugs that are suitable for hollow walls. In both cases we advise a TV bracket without a swivel arm. The wall could become damaged due to the force of the swivel arm. Flat TV Wall Brackets
We would like to bring to your attention that the mounting material supplied is suitable for brick, concrete and / or solid wood walls.
Should there be any doubt after reading the above information, we would advise you to ask for advice at a local DIY centre or a professional installer. They will be able to advise you best on what to do.
Please try the following:
Rinse the suction cup (soft part) under hot water. This will clean the surface and bring the cup back in its original shape. Leave to dry naturally.
Make sure that the windshield is clean and dry.

Sometimes it's hard to determine the ideal mounting height for your TV. Nevertheless, it is of the utmost importance that you mount your TV at the correct height. For the ideal mounting height, first determine the your own eye level when watching TV. This could be, for example, the viewing height when seated on your couch. According to the rule of thumb, the middle of your TV should be at eye level. If you want to mount your TV higher by means of a mount, for example in the kitchen or in the bedroom, we would advise you to purchase a tilting (TILT) TV bracket. These TV brackets can tilt to ensure an optimal viewing angle.
The optimal viewing distance is approximately 5-10 cm per inch of the diagonal screen measurement. E.G. when buying a 42 inch flatscreen TV, you should have envisaged being seated 2-4 metres from the screen.
Vogel's offers a complete assembly kit with all mounting materials included in the box.
When a tilt wall mount is used, your flatscreen can be mounted above eye level.
Vogel’s puts a lot of effort into making products hassle free. We provide clear assembly instructions, as well as all mounting materials and high quality Fischer® plugs to make it as easy as possible for you to install our mount and your TV on the wall.

Yes, it is possible to place your sound bar above your TV using our sound bar mounts. However, there are 3 reasons why we don't communicate this possibility:1. For an optimal 'voice localisation' it is better to place the sound bar below the TV.2. Since most sound bars are thicker than the TV, placing one above the TV will block the heat dissipation. This may cause problems with the TV.3. It is of course a matter of taste, but since most sound bars are thicker than the TV it will look really odd.
Although not very common, it is possible to mount sound bar on top of TV.
The tilt function of the TV wall mount, if available, must not be used.
In case there is not at all any mounting possibility, sound bar can be put on a shelf (cable column NEXT 7840 withAV multi support NEXT 7825.

A Vogel's Sound product turns with the TV and the SOUND product is height and depth adjustable. This makes sure you always have the most optimal sound experience.
A plasma display panel (PDP) is a type of flat panel display common to large TV displays 30 inches (76 cm) or larger. They are called "plasma" displays because the technology utilizes small cells containing electrically charged ionized gases or, what are in essence, chambers more commonly known as fluorescent lamps.
OLED is a abbreviation of Organic Light Electronic Diode. It is an Industry Standard.
3D is television that conveys depth perception to the viewer by employing techniques such as stereoscopic display, multi-view display, 2D-plus-depth, or any other form of 3D display.
LCD is an a abbreviation for Light Chrystal Displays. It is an Industry Standard.
LED is a abbreviation for Light Emitting Diodes. It is an Industry Standard. LED TV screens are, in general, very thin.
Sometimes a TV needs mounting material that differs from what has been provided in the packaging of the TV wall mount concerned. There are several reasons for this. Perhaps the TV has a particular shape due to the speaker or a camera. Or perhaps the screw holes are deeper. We aim to provide you with the best service possible and for this reason we supply the necessary mounting material free of charge. A more detailed explanation about Service Kits can be found here.
On our packaging and website we indicate the screen sizes for which the wall mount is developed. The maximum turning angle depends on the width of the TV. If your TV is almost the maximum indicated size, it might not be able to turn the maximum indicated angle. If you want optimal functionality, we advise to choose a bigger wall mount (if available). Please check our online advice tool to see which wall mount best fits your TV: TV Mount Advisor

Yes, it is possible to replace or add new ty raps to the arms of the NEXT 7345.
First mount the colum NEXT 7840, than add the glass plate NEXT 7825 and finally add the wall mount NEXT 7345.
The width of the current glass AV Multisupport NEXT 7825 has been carefully tuned to the arrangement and proportions of the total NEXT concept. A smaller glassplate would do harm to the full composition and will therefore not become available.
THIN remains the thinnest: 3,5 cm (NEW WALL: 5,5 cm). Because extension range (arm length) is larger with THIN,THIN can turn the most!
The depth of the screen is limited to ensure the correct performance of the tilt function.
The first (curved) OLED screens will be introduced in Q4 2013. If the OLED screens have a standard VESA pattern, OLED screens can be mounted with the THIN Series.
UltraHD screens are somewhat thicker and heavier than the HD equivalents. The THIN series can be used as long as the screen size, screen thickness and weight are within THIN limits.
If the TILT function is not used, the tilt mechanism can be locked (THIN TILT wall mounts) by means of a small blocking device which is located on the back of the wall mount interface.
During installation of a THIN (TURN) wall mount, depending on where the connections of the flatscreen are, you can select whether the arms are moving to the left or to the right in the event of the screen being pushed back towards the wall. This prevents any interference between the wall mount arms and connections (cables) at the back of the screen.
As screens are getting thinner and lighter, we can stretch the min. and max. inch sizes to fit these supports matching the majority of flatscreens in the market.
Interface is the part of the TV mount which should be attached to the rear of the flatscreen.
With fitment we mean whether or not the flatscreen television is compatible with the TV mount.
A service kit is a kit consisting of the mounting materials required for specific televisions.
You will find a pre-assembled wall mount, assorted screen and wall mounting materials and clear mounting instructions.
The depth limit of a television screen concerns the TV screen's point of gravity. If a screen is thicker than the limit of 5 cm, correct performance of the tilt function cannot be guaranteed.
The VESA (hole pattern on the back of your TV), weight, screen size and functionality (turn, tilt or flat) should be taken into consideration. can help you with this.
VESA is a standard pattern of mounting location holes on the back of a flatscreen television which allows many standard TV mounts to be easily fitted to your flatscreen TV. For more detailed info, watch the explanatory movie.
At Vogel’s we are very strict about providing secure support and we test all of our products according to the weight of the TV. This weight is one of the main criteria that determine if a TV can be hung with a specific wall mount. The past years TVs have become thinner and lighter. So it is possible that a specific wall mount can now hold a larger TV than before. Luckily we can adjust the data on our website very easy and very quickly, but unfortunately it is not possible to change all the packages in the stores. Therefore, if you want to know which sizes are correct, you can best check our website. It is always up to date with the latest information.
The tilt function can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the bolt in the mount. In some WALL types this can be done with a screwdriver; for other WALL products you need an Allen key. Please check the mounting instructions of your product for the location of this bolt and which tool to use.

As we previously anticipated for new iPad models, we plan to do so now, too. Vogel’s will introduce a new range of packs specially designed for what will still be the most successful tablet in the market.
THIN wall mounts are specified as ultra thin wall mounts and are still closer to the wall in the home position than the new WALL products, only 3.5 cm (NEW WALL: 5.5 cm). The turning range of THIN is greater as well, because of the longer arms which create an even larger extension from the wall.
The picture quality and especially the 3D effect of 3D TVs depend strongly on the viewing angle. Sit in the sweet spot right in front of the TV for the best picture quality and full 3D effect. Many 3D TVs produce a marked colour shift at a 35-degree viewing angle. The picture turns brighter as the viewing angle increases. The dark bars at the top and bottom turn bluish grey, reducing the contrast significantly. You can avoid these problems by using Vogel's TURN wall mounts to turn your 3D TV to the best viewing angle. And enjoy the full 3D effect in unparalleled comfort from your sweet spot right in front of the TV.
Vogel's WALL and THIN products can be mounted on wooden stud walls. Some products need to be mounted on a single wooden stud, while others need to be mounted on at least two wooden studs. Please check the assembly instructions before mounting your Vogel's product on a wooden stud wall.
