Evolution 6000 Series Projector mounting supports gets global recognition

11 December 2006 – Vogel’s, market leader in the field of innovative supports for audio/video equipment is pleased to announce it has received the iF Product Design Award 2007 for the Click & Switch system in the category Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications. The global recognition Vogel’s receives by winning this award places them alongside leading manufacturers, such as Sony, Panasonic, Apple, Loewe and many more.

The Click & Switch system, which is part of the successful Vogel’s Evolution 6000 Series, offers the possibility to use one projector in different rooms - in three different ways-  with just one simple click! With the universal connector, the revolutionary Evolution 6000 Series for projectors can be mounted on the ceiling, wall or table using one basic set. The modular system offers everything you need: it is easy to mount and can be turned, tilted and locked in every desired position. There are three different mounting solutions: a Projector Table solution, Projector Ceiling solution as well as Projector Wall solution.

This year there were more entries for the iF Product Design Award than ever before. The expert jurors were able to witness some outstanding design specimens, selecting a total of 756 winners out of the 2.293 entries. 50 participants among these winners will also be the recipients of an iF gold award. However, this will only be announced at the first day of CeBIT on the 15 March 2007.

The iF product design award is one of the world’s three leading design awards and can look back proudly on a 50-odd-year history. Every year at the Hannover Exhibition Center products from around 35 nations are judged by renowned experts, with the best of them receiving an iF seal of outstanding design quality — a worldwide brand with high recognition value, guaranteeing its owner a place on the cutting edge of contemporary design.
