Vogel’s sets the standard for A/V mounting solutions at IFA 2007

Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 04 September, 2007 – Vogel’s, the European market leader in innovative audio and video equipment support and furniture solutions, announces today a new design solution for mounting wide screen plasma and LCD TVs.
Audio-visual equipment is an important investment that merits the purchase of a suitable wall support. Vogel’s identified this need in 2005 and introduced the first complete range of nine LCD/Plasma screen supports. Available in different sizes with varying movement mechanisms, this line set the standard for the industry with its unique Side Protection System™ and Smart Movement Mechanism™. 

The latest large screen models to be showcased at IFA 2007 now require special mounting solutions that are both stable and secure. Leading the way once again, Vogel's is expanding its 6000 Series with the introduction of the 64 Series to cater for these wider models.

64 Series - close wall mounting and swivel function

Available in two models, the new 64 Series mounting system is universal and fits larger screen sizes. The EFW 6405, designed specifically for screens measuring between 42"- 70" and weighing up to 100 kg, can be fitted close to the wall, saving space and allowing for optimum air circulation. The EFW 6445, created for wide screens measuring between 42” - 65” can support TVs weighing up to 55 kg. Using tilt, turn and reach technology, the EFW 6445 is optimally adjustable and can be directed 60 degrees to the left or right.
