Eindhoven, 5 February 2009 – Vogel’s Professional, introduces a series of fully adjustable mounts for short-throw projectors for use with interactive whiteboards. The PPS range  comprises models for mounting centrally above the whiteboard with arm lengths from 230 to 800 mm, plus a swivel model that can be folded away and locked against the wall. All have very precise depth, height, tilt and fine-tuning adjustment possibilities making them suitable for all types of short-throw projectors currently available – including ultra short-throw types. They are also safe and secure even for heavy projectors.

The interactive whiteboard in combination with a short-throw projector is gaining popularity in education and other audio-visual applications as it is less blinding for the presenter, and the projected image has virtually no hindrance from the presenter’s shadow. Installation is also easier and the projector does not obstruct the view as it is secured to the wall above the whiteboard. However, the very wide-angle projector lenses and extreme parallax correction means the positioning and stability of the short-throw projector is critical for sharp focus and a consistent quality image. The sturdy Vogel’s Professional universal PPS short-throw projector mounts provide a stable solution for sharp image under all circumstances.

To keep the short-throw projector exactly positioned, the PPS mounts use Vogel’s Fine Tune (VFTTM) mechanism that incorporates very precise adjustment possibilities. The unique styling of the mounts fits all professional presentation environments, while the rugged GS-TÜV approved construction is safe for use in schools and colleges. Wall locks and security cages are available as options.
