Vogel’s Professional introduces super flat and secure wall mounts

Easy-to-install PFW 50xx and 55xx series wall supports with additional security features

Eindhoven, 1 February 2009 – Vogel’s Professional is extending its range of wall mounts for flat LCD and plasma displays with the PFW 50xx and PFW55xx for super flat and extra secure mounting. Designed for use in public areas that cannot be continually supervised, they feature a sturdy locking system that secures the display effectively and closely to the wall to hinder removal. The mounts have an elegant look and take up little space, yet still allow easy access to the display for service.

The range comprises the PFW 50 xx for 37 to 50-inch flat displays weighing up to 50 kg, and the PFW 55xx for 50 to 70-inch flat displays weighing up to 75 kg. All are TÜV approved. Three configurations are available: super flat (just 32 mm from the wall) with Autolock®; extra secure models with Autolock® plus a locking bar and padlock; and tilt models that also have the locking bar and padlock. The tilt mechanism allows 0, 5, 10 and 15-degree increments. 

The wall plate has a unique built-in leveling technique with diagonal mounting holes that help installers very precisely adjust the horizontal level and compensate for drilling tolerances. The mounts also have mounting holes for a set-top box, and enable multi-screen displays to be configured.
