Turn your TV with Vogel’s latest remote-controlled flatscreen wall support

Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 31 August, 2007 – Vogel’s, the European market leader in innovative audio and video equipment support and furniture solutions, announces today the launch of Glider™, a new addition to the successful EMOTM (Electronic Motion) range of remote-controlled flatscreen supports and stands.

This new electronic wall mount has been designed for universal use and is VESA compatible, ensuring that it can be used with almost all large flat screen models from 42’’ to 60’’ that weigh up to 70 kg. Glider™ is a stylish solution and an innovative alternative to the standard manual stands that are often supplied with today’s flatscreens.

Let your fingers do the walking with the Glider™

The Glider™ turns TV screens from side to side (45 degrees to the left or the right) helping users obtain the optimal viewing angle from the comfort of their chair. Moreover, the Glider™ automatically brings the television back to its centred position against the wall when the TV is switched off. When turned on again, the television returns to the last position saved in the device’s memory. A remote is also included with all EMOTM supports. The Glider™ is also compatible with learnable universal remote controls.

Vogel’s has revolutionised the motorised wall mounting of flat screens thanks to unique mechanical design. As its name suggests, the Glider™ moves smoothly and evenly, keeping the television close to the wall.
