3x Good Industrial Design recognition

Eindhoven, 14 December 2009 - Vogel's is pleased to announce it has received ‘Good Industrial Design’ recognitions for 3 of her products. During an official ceremony on 10 December Gerdi Vogels, together with the designer, received the GIO recognitions from the jury in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The Floor stand EFF 8340 and wall mount EFW 8345 from the recently introduced 8000 Series was honoured with the recognition in the category consumer products. PPS 800 Short Throw projector mount of Vogel’s is recognised in the professional products category.

This GIO Recognition is the acknowledgement for Good Industrial Design in Holland. Products which show the commercial power of design, are considered for a recognition. Next to the aesthetics especially functionality, innovative design and the choice of material is judged.

The annual awarding of the GIO Recognitions is organised by Designlink. Designlink is an independent organisation who brings together supply and demand, knowledge and policy in the field of product design. With the goal to promote the development of industrial designs in Holland.
