Vogel’s Professional introduces Connect-it ceiling mounts

Modular ceiling mounts for small to medium sized flat displays launched at ISE 2010

Eindhoven, 1 February 2010 – Vogel’s Professional introduces the modular Connect-it ceiling mounts for use with the latest generation of flat displays at ISE 2010 (2 to 4 February 2010, booth I59, Hal01). Comprising a range of standard elements, the modular design facilitates more than 80 different combinations to be created. This offers a solution for almost every ceiling mounting application of displays in the size range 15 to 32 inches.

Cost effective and customizable
“We not only designed the Connect-it concept to visually complement the latest generation of flat displays”, says Leon Grooten, Product Manager at Vogel’s, “but also to offer a highly cost effective mounting solution that is both robust and attractive. The modular elements in combination with the extruded poles ensure flexibility and a degree of customization in a very attractive price category. We believe this modular approach has a great future for other display mounting solutions.”

Flexible modular concept

The modular elements comprise four ceiling plates (including tilting types for use on inclined ceilings), three VESA display interfaces, one universal interface and three standard lengths of the extruded aluminium poles (0.8, 1.5 and 3 m long). These poles feature a double-channel Cable Inlay System (CIS®) that neatly hides all cables. An attractive black cover clips into place on the extrusion to conceal the cables, and if necessary, these covers are easily customized by the user to match a particular interior or housestyle, or to include a logo or other message.

Easy to install

Designed to be easy to install, the Connect-it poles can also be cut to any desired length. The display interfaces are available for 75 x 75, 100 x 100 , 200 x 100, and 200 x 200 mm standard VESA mounting patterns, and are easily attached to the pole.  It is also possible to mount the flat displays back-to-back. The interfaces can be tilted (0, 10 and 20-degrees) and feature Vogel’s innovative ‘adjustable’ mounting hole pattern that guarantees perfect horizontal orientation. An universal interface for up to 30-degree tilt and a floor plate round off the mounting possibilities.
